About Dr. Sterling II

Milton W. Sterling II, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist at SportsMED Orthopedic Surgery & Spine Center in Athens, Decatur, Madison, and Huntsville, Alabama. He specializes in diabetic limb salvage and forefoot surgery, as well as the treatment of bunions, calluses, and hammertoes.

Dr. Sterling earned his bachelor’s degree with honors at Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama, before attending Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Sterling went on to complete a podiatric surgical residency at St. Vincent Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida, where he also served as chief resident.

Board-certified in podiatric surgery, Dr. Sterling is a diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Sterling is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association. He serves on the medical staff at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur, Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, and Madison Surgery in Madison.
