H. COBB ALEXANDER, M.D.
Dr. Alexander is a Board Certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery. A graduate of Washington and Lee University in Virginia, he received his M.D. from Vanderbilt University. In 1987, he completed his orthopaedic residency at the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, South Carolina. In 1988, he completed a combined fellowship in joint replacement surgery and sports medicine, the former at New England Baptist Hospital and the latter at Children’s Hospital, both in Boston. Dr. Alexander was one of the founding physicians for the Joint Center at Huntsville Hospital East.

BRETT FRANKLIN, M.D.
Dr. Franklin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He received his Medical Degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, AL in 2003. After completing his orthopaedic residency at the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC in 2008, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Dr. Franklin is a native of Huntsville and attended Grissom High School. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is on the active staff at Crestwood Hospital and the Surgery Center of Huntsville.

MATTHEW CLAYTON, M.D.
Dr. Clayton is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement, with emphasis on complex revisions of failed hip and knee replacements. Dr. Clayton also specializes in minimally invasive direct anterior hip replacement. Dr. Clayton graduated cum laude from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in Biology/Psychology. He attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine followed by an orthopedic residency at Mount Carmel Health Systems in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Clayton completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction surgery at Southern Joint Replacement Institute in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Clayton is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He is clinical faculty for UAB School of Medicine at the Huntsville Regional Medical Campus. He is on the active staff at Crestwood Medical Center and the Surgery Center of Huntsville.

Dr. Zachary A. Mosher
Zachary A. Mosher, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement, minimally invasive hip and knee replacement, prosthetic joint infections, periprosthetic fractures, and fractures around the hip and knee. He is a native of Elkmont, AL, and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University graduating as an honors scholar with Summa Cum Laude recognition. He then attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine and split time between the Huntsville and Birmingham campuses. During his time in medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Arnold P. Gold Humanism medical honor societies and graduated with Magna Cum Laude recognition. He then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at the renowned University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN, where he worked with leaders in the field of orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Mosher completed his training with an adult hip and knee reconstruction fellowship in Alexandria, VA at the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic, learning from pioneers in the management of complex hip and knee replacement.
