Return to Sport Program
Our “Return to Sport” program is specially designed for athletes who are recovering from injury. Our Providers

Jared Dowling, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Jared is Triple Threat’s lead Physical Therapist, specializing in the treatment of athletes across all levels, from amateur to professional. He is originally from Huntsville, AL and a graduate of Grissom High School. Jared attended Auburn University, where he earned a B.S. in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. He furthered his studies at the University of South Alabama, obtaining a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

He has gained valuable experience interning with the Auburn Men’s Basketball Team and working at Johnson and Hayes and Godspeed.

Jared is certified in CSCS, FDN, OBU hitting, OBU Pitching, TPI Level 1, and CMFA.

Kendra Miller, Expert Performance Coach

Kendra Miller, our expert performance coach, offers one-on-one, small group, and team strength and conditioning sessions. Originally from Plainwell, Michigan, Kendra earned her Bachelor of Science in Management of Health and Fitness from Northern Michigan University. She then pursued a Master of Science in Sports Business at Temple University, where she served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach for Olympic Sports and Women’s Basketball. Kendra continued her career as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for these programs and later at Keiser University.

Kendra brings a wealth of experience, having worked with athletes and teams at amateur, collegiate, and professional levels.

She holds several certifications, including CSCCa-SCCC, NSCA-CSCS, USAW L1, USATF L1, and CPR/AED/First Aid.

Dr. Mary Northcutt

Mary moved to Huntsville in middle school, and considers Huntsville home. She graduated from Virgil I. Grissom High School and grew up swimming for the Tigers and for the Huntsville Swim Association. She went on to swim collegiately at Carson-Newman University where she became a multi-time All American and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. She then went to PT school at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. After graduating
from UTC, she completed the University of Kentucky HealthCare Sports Physical Therapy Residency. She has treated athletes from elementary school to the Division I SEC level and beyond. Mary loves working with athletes of any kind, but has a specific interest in treating athletes that participate in Olympic sports, particularly swimmers and barbell athletes.

Mary is dry needling certified and certified in the Emergency Response for the Athlete(ERA).
