Dr. Danny Raley

Danny Raley, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained sports medicine/non-operative orthopedics physician.

Dr. Raley is originally from Franklin, TN. He grew up playing baseball, eventually playing 2 years of D1 collegiate baseball at UNC Charlotte. He graduated with a degree in Biology from East Tennessee State University, where he then attended medical school. After medical school, Dr. Raley completed Family Medicine Residency at Chattanooga, TN where he served as chief resident.

Upon completion of residency, Dr. Raley stayed in Chattanooga and completed a Non-Operative Sports Medicine Fellowship. During his fellowship, Dr. Raley worked with several different athletic programs including those with Hixson High School, University of Chattanooga Athletics, and Chattanooga Football Club.

Dr. Raley specializes in non-operative sports medicine, with expertise in the diagnosis and management of a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. From youth sports injuries to maintaining activity later in life, Dr. Raley is passionate about caring for patients of all ages and providing comprehensive rehabilitation of acute and chronic injuries. Common conditions he treats includes acute athletic injuries, chronic overuse injuries, and degenerative joint disease.

Services offered by Dr. Raley include corticosteroid injections, viscosupplementation injections, nerve blocks/ablations, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), non-operative fracture management, exertional compartment testing, and concussion management.

Outside of work, Dr. Raley enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 kids. He tries to stay active any way he can and enjoys climbing, tennis, hiking, and jiu-jitsu.
