About Dr. Hampton

Angela Hampton, DPM, is a skilled podiatrist bringing comprehensive care to patients at SportsMED Orthopedic Surgery & Spine Center. Dr. Hampton treats a wide range of podiatry conditions at the practice locations in Athens, Decatur, Huntsville, and Madison, Alabama.

Dr. Hampton completed her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in North Carolina. She went on to receive her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and served as chief resident while completing her podiatric surgery residency at Virtua West Jersey Health System in Camden, New Jersey.

Dr. Hampton is passionate about foot care and uses the most conservative and high-quality treatment options. She serves more minor issues like bunions, calluses, hammertoes, athlete’s foot, plantar warts, and foot sprains. Dr. Hampton has a particular interest in forefoot surgery, healing heel pain and diabetic limb salvage. She is committed to restoring health to her patients.

Dr. Hampton is a diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In addition, she is proud to serve on the staff at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama, and Decatur Ambulatory Surgery Center and Parkway Medical Center Hospital in Decatur, Alabama.
